Welcome to my latest Programming Adventure!
I’m creating a WordPress Theme and I need to add a few features to make it better. Keep reading to see how it’s gonna get done!
What Features Am I Going to Add?
I didn’t realize this at first, but WordPress is missing a lot of things right out of the gate. I mean, things like Featured Post Images and Excerpts are all functions that exist somewhere, but they have to be initialized. As I poured over the Hydrogen BootStrap design, I knew there were a few things that I needed to add, specifically:
1. Customizing the Comment box
2. Including a Featured Post Image
3. Displaying a short excerpt of the post
The Professional Ruby on Rails Developer Course is a Udemy Course by that aims to teach you everything you need to know about Ruby on Rails.
Ruby on Rails is a framework for the language Ruby. I started learning Ruby through CodeCademy, but I must admit that I didn’t have much of a clue as to what I was doing.
Ruby on Rails was supposed to take the simplicity of Ruby and make it better.
I started this course because it looked interesting, and I was tired of messing around with PHP.
So was it The Professional Ruby on Rails Developer Course any good? Did it teach you everything you needed to know about Ruby on Rails?
Let’s find out in this review.
[fusion_text]“Learn Bootstrap By Building 10 Projects” is a course by Eduonix Learning Solutions, The Knowledge Edge.
Of all the courses I’ve taken on Udemy, this course by Eduonix has been my favorite.
It was summer of 2015.
I was just starting to learn how to code. My father pointed me to CodeCademy to get started learning HTML & CSS.
I thought I would just “try it out”.
Little did I know, I would actually end up liking it a whole lot and started making a career out of it.
But what about the course? Was it any good? Did it do anything more than just whet my appetite for learning coding?
The Complete Web Developer Course is a Udemy Course that aims to teach you everything you need to know about web development. The course follows an ebook written by Rob Percival, purporting to help you earn $10,000 while learning to code.
During the summer of 2015, I spent about three hours a day working on this course. I made the decision to move into the web development / coding / whatever you call it, and this was the first course my father purchased. When I decided to do reviews on Udemy Courses, this was the best choice to start with.
There are a lot of reasons why I didn’t like this course, but there were also a few good things that I’d like to point out in this review.
